08/05/2007 - Whistle Gear Rocks the Waterfront Festival!
What better way to rock than to do it in front of 10,000 people?
It was an incredible honor to be asked to perform on saturday night before the fireworks and, beyond a doubt, it was an incredible experience...and we hope we get the opportunity to do the same next year!
Make sure to keep an eye out here...we video recorded our show, and will be showing some of it here!
We feel that our performance at Waterfront this year was our best to date, but none of it would have been possible without the help of several people who deserve our heartfelt thanks:
We want to thank Jim Callo and the Waterfront Committee for giving us this great opportunity! Also, thanks go out to SRS for not only putting on a awesome light show for us, but for allowing us to take over their sound system and do it our way...kudos!
A very special thanks goes out to Melissa, Cindy, Nick, Chicken, Chris, and everyone else who helped us out both before and during our performance..you made it so easy for us and we couldn't have done it without you!
Finally, and most importantly, thank YOU for being such an incredible audience and for your support! We love you all!

07/04/2007 - The Fourth of July...Parades, Fireworks, and Whistle Gear (Part II)!!
As many of you know, we played on Stephenson Island in Marinette prior to the fireworks, and despite the rain earlier in the day, everything dried up just in time for some good time rock & roll fun!
Everyone came to the show expecting excellent music and a great time, and we delivered! But that's not all we delivered...
Many fans found themselves lucky enough to get their hands on a limited edition Whistle Gear Frisbee! For the kids, we gave away inflatable guitars and microphones! It was an absolute blast!
If for some unknown reason you missed out, fear not.....we will be giving away more at Waterfront!
As special as the Fourth of July is, it was even more special for us, not just for the honor of playing into a great fireworks show, but also because it was Colin's birthday!
Yes, unbeknownst to Colin, the rest of the band conspired against him, and the end result was a rousing chorus of "Happy Birthday" from the audience, a birthday cake baked and delivered by Rita, a dear friend of the band, a group of teenage friends dressed up Colin-style, and a mini-boa giveaway!
Needless to say, it all struck Colin speechless...and that is no small feat!
It just goes to show that you never really know what to expect at a Whistle Gear show! Thank you everyone for coming out, and we'll see you next time!
07/01/2007 - Cold Weather, A Hearty Thank You, and a Bus...
This past weekend we played outdoors at Good Times in Marinette, and we really had a great time!
Despite the temperature being in the mid to low 50's, many of you turned out in droves to see us and endured the chill to party with us!
We did our best to help keep you warm by keeping you dancing, and by the amount of people dancing, I think we warmed things up pretty good!
All of it proved to us what we already knew - that Whistle Gear fans are the absolute BEST! So from us to you, we love you all, and thank you very much!
Did we mention the bus?
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we were in the middle of our show on Saturday, when a bus full of people pulled up and joined the party! Seeing that was an absolute trip, and it just goes to show you....you never know what's going to happen at a Whistle Gear show!
06/23/2007 - New Dates Added....Come Out And See Us, LIVE!
Due to technical issues there was a delay in updating the site, including the performance dates, and we sincerely apologize for that!
But that doesn't mean we aren't ready to come out and rock! New dates have been added, so come out and see us at a place near you! Hey, come see us at a place that isn't near you, too! We're not picky!

04/20/2007 - See Whistle Gear Live At The Waterfront Festival!
The band is proud to announce that they will be playing at Waterfront!
Whistle Gear is very excited to play during the biggest celebration of the year, the Waterfront Festival in Menominee MI!
But wait, it gets even better!
Whistle Gear will play August 4th, showtime at 8:00 PM. For those in the know, this is the night of the fireworks, which will take place after the show!
What could possibly be better than Whistle Gear and fireworks? We can't think of anything!"
So remember, August 4th, Waterfront, Whistle Gear, Fireworks...if you're not there then you are definitely missing out! We look forward to seeing you there!
04/20/2007 - Whistle Gear Is Hitting The Road!
Although the band loves playing for all their local fans, why stop there? Why not conquer the world?
Whistle Gear is taking the show on the road, with upcoming shows in Iron Mountain MI and Wausaukee WI.
More shows out of town are forthcoming...we look forward to meeting everyone in Iron Mountain and Wausaukee, and hope every single one of them come out and have a great time!
As always, we are also looking forward to seeing each and every one of you there, so warm up your vehicles and join us! We won't stop until we have an army of fans, and we won't be happy unless you are there!

04/20/2007 - Whistle Gear Is Finally Online!
The story went like this: We got a website, then we got a Myspace page. Then we thought we could do better, so we shut the site down and rebuilt it.
We had the technology. We could make it faster, stronger, better...
And that is what we did! You are now looking at the new Official Whistle Gear website! It took a while, and there were delays, but we are happy to present what we feel is the single coolest site on the internet!
